一、自我介绍考查内容
不同的学校对口语测试有不同的标准和流程。有些制定了非常详细的标准和流程，甚至规定了每个老师发问的方式和时间；有些只是面试老师的自由发挥，成绩也基本上由面试老师主观判定。不管面试是否严格控制，考生对下面几个问题一定要认真准备，并形成一套属于自己的表达框架：
（一）是自我介绍，如来自哪里，毕业学校、所学专业、毕业论文课题、业余爱好、家庭基本情况等信息。2022-2023
（二）是做好用英语定义和解释自己所学专业的准备。
二、自我介绍注意事项
（一）口语测试时，老师有可能就本专业展开话题，考查考生用英语讲述事物的能力。先用一些自己比较熟悉的句型和词汇将答案组织起来，再用一些更精确的不经常用的句型和词汇来替换，提高语言质量，让考官感觉表述地道，有利于获得好成绩。
（二）注意在准备的过程中，要结合自己的经历和见解来准备答案，让自己回答的问题和整个的自我介绍融为一个整体。要不然很容易被考官抓住把柄，问个没完，很容易因紧张而露出马脚。2022-2023
（三）基本上每个院校每个专业的口试中都会涉及自我介绍。考官其实是要借此了解你的口头表达能力以及你的报名表之外的一些信息。自我介绍时间以2-3分钟为宜。思路要清楚，要突出重点，口语尽量流利(不要太流利了，有背诵之嫌)。
1、开始做自我介绍时，不要用…let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重复、啰嗦。2022-2023
开头可以只用一句话引入：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here.然后就可以进入主题，介绍姓名、年龄等等。
2、自我介绍的主体内容
① 姓名：介绍自己姓名时，发音一定要准。
② 年龄：年龄可以跟在姓名后带过(I am XXX, 25 years old)。2022-2023
③ 原来的院校、专业：一定要把原来学校的英文名称、专业的英文名称弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨专业的学生)。
④ 所属的公司、职位。注意：在职考生则应将自己公司、自己职位/职称的英文名称弄明白。
⑤ 性格、能力。可以着重强调你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。
如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等；2022-2023
如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容词有：active, aggressive(有进取心的), adaptable, amicable(友好的), analytical(善于分析的), cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主见的), innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一丝不苟的), temperate等等。2022-2023
报考MBA/MPA/MEM等的考友大多数是在职人员。因此你可以强调一下你的工作成绩，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a ¥200,000 deal for the corporation.2022-2023
⑥ 爱好。All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. 除了强调你的学习的重视，同时也要避免给考官一种书呆子的感觉。2022-2023
一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义(build my body, relax myself, open my mind…)；注意避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的爱好，如：playing computer games，watching TV等。
⑦ 你对报考的专业有兴趣(be interested in/be fascinated with/be obsessed with…)，可适当举出一些例子，如经常看相关的书籍、论文、文章、新闻等。2022-2023
在职考生可以强调知识教育对工作的影响：In my work, I find it necessary to broaden my horizons in communication. That’s why I long for entering your prestigious university.
3、结束时可以用说：That’s all about me. / Well, that’s who I am. Thanks for your attention.2022-2023
三、发音问题
MBA\MPA\MPACC英语复试中，最常犯的7个英文发音错误，在此列举出来，望考友们及时纠正，养成正确的读音习惯，让此次英语面试水平上一个台阶，也能在今后的英语交流中避免一些误会。
（一）英文特色的 th 怎么发音
Th组合对亲们的英文发音来说，毫无疑问是最大的难题了。2022-2023
中文里，我们并没有咬舌音这一说。所以，很多亲们会把咬舌的th发成了，比如会把think读成sink。
Th组合在英文里很常见，我们建议先把th的发音读准，再带到单词里反复练习。
正确发音的关键在于，要把舌头稍稍伸出牙齿，轻轻把舌头放在上牙和下牙之间，在发音时也要感受到空气在舌头和上牙之间流动。

（二）d, t, s, k要轻轻地读
中国学生普遍来说喜欢在以d, t, s, k 结尾的单词后多加一个音素。这是什么意思呢？比如说and这个单词，很多人会读成and-e，不仅重读了结尾，还拉长了单词，但这种发音在外国人听来是非常不地道的。
相似的词还有：

如果你的亲们有这方面读音的问题，可以试着让亲们练习我给到的上述几个例子。粗体字部分，我们要避免生硬地重读以及随意添加新的音素。
（三）on或un后总是加一个后鼻音
对很多北方亲们来说，他们会喜欢把on读作昂。比如说monday这个词的时候，经常给mon这个音节加上一个后鼻音，变成mongday，又或者把wonder变成了wongder。
多加的这个[ŋ]是需要用舌头根部抵住口腔的软腭，而on正确的读法，舌头要抵到上颚，口腔要稍微闭合。2022-2023

（四）总是把握不好i的齿度
字母i在单词中的发音是短而快速的，需要牙齿微微张开。
但我们的亲们会把短小精悍的i拖长，读作一，变成ee或ea组合的发音。这样一来，fish就成了feesh，老外自然听不懂你在说什么。
i的发音要点是要将牙齿微敞，发音时舌头抵下齿，舌前部抬高，舌两侧抵上齿两侧，口形扁平。发此音时要短促而轻快。2022-2023

（五）偷懒是你读不好rl 的原因
rl这个组合更令我们中国人头大，r和l的发音如果不一起读到位，就会变成另一个单词。比如world，有的亲们为了偷懒少发一个r的音，直接读成word，省略了舌尖顶住上齿龈的l。
要征服这个难点，首先得把单词拆开。比如，world可以拆为wor + ld，从wor过渡到ld需要把的舌头抬起来，舌尖轻轻顶到上牙膛，再放下，发出最后的d，就能完美发出准确的读音了。2022-2023
